Little Fire (Scottish singer songwriter)
Little Fire (born 5 December 1985, Scotland) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist. His material includes folk americana, pop and alternative country music.
== Career ==

Musician Jamie McGeechan aka Little Fire was born in Falkirk in 1985.
Raised in Ayrshire from the age of 5 he began and performing at a young age.
Starting to gig in pubs and working mans clubs from the age of 15 with his band from school it was apparent from a young age that he had talent for singing and writing songs.
Aged 24 he won the Burns an' a'that Battle of The Bands competition at the Burns an' a'that Festival in Ayr where he has previously stated this was a beginning of his career.
In 2010 Little Fire was invited to support Dougie MacLean in Ayr, to perform for The Queen at the Epsom Derby in England and to perform on STV's The Hour. He made his festival debut at the Latitude Festival in England followed by performances at Rockness.
2011 saw support slots with The Secret Sisters, King Creosote and Capercaillie.
2012 saw Little Fire invited to support Joan Armatrading as part of her UK tour.
In 2013 Little Fire performed at the Blueballs Festival in Luzerne Switzerland. Damien Rice heard him perform and invited him to join him on stage at his concert, leading to a duet and recording of some songs together.
In October 2014 Little Fire made history as the first person to record an album of Burns songs within Burns Cottage itelf. The album entitled 'Roots' was featured on BBC Reporting Scotland in January 2015.
Debut album High Hopes was released on 5th December 2014.
Little Fire performed in New York for the American Scottish Foundation's 21st Annual Burns Supper on 19th January 2015.
